LRCGS Member Announces New Family Web Site

LRCGS member Carol Dew invites everyone to come and take a look at her new family website entitled "Who was Elizabeth R. Barnett?" It details her long search for the ancestors of Elizabeth and the migration of the descendants of Moore Barnett from Alabama to the Clear Creek area of Sevier County, Arkansas, by the early 1840s. Families discussed in the site include the Skidmores, McMillans, and Smoots, as well as Robert & Lucinda Millwee Barnett. Check it out HERE.

New Cemeteries Added to Web Site

Over the last few months, our cemetery committee has added ten new cemeteries, bringing our total surveys to over 50, with a few Sevier County cemeteries added in the mix.
New surveys include: Campbell Family, Wright Cemetery, Doughten Family, Holy Cross Cemetery, New Home Cemetery, Piney Grove Cemetery, Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Hopson Cemetery, Cerro Gordo Cemetery and Cooper Cemetery.
